So you are downloading an illegally distributed file, which perhaps put you in violation of the Microsoft EULA.Anyone who is running Windows XP Mode in Windows 7 likely will not have a Windows XP installation disc, so that is not a solution. The distribution of the file cplexe.exe is illegal under the Microsoft EULA. Even if you verify the file to be legitimate today, it could be changed tomorrow.2. This is really bad advice I am surprised that a Microsoft employee would give it. I installed Virtual XP 32, but it cannot read chinese language, so all my work files are little squarees where communication should be. So, the biggest issue is that it is an Architectural firm so I need to use CAD 32 bit. The problem is that where I work, they all run XP 32bit. My issue (please don't make me think that it was a mistake to do so) is that I purchased and installed Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit on my laptop. I have downloaded countess SP's, read countless postsand wasted way too much time. The third party link is way too old in addition to a following post saying that this cplexe.exs file is not complete enough. Can someone help with this? I have tried for a week to fix this.
